Girly Glam

Happy Sunday luvs! It's been too long since my last post. I'm happy to finally do a new post for you guys. The family and I enjoyed a nice day out at Gaylord National Harbor. I kept it simple and comfortable in a turtle neck, pleated skirt, and a statement necklace. Have a blissful Sunday everyone!!! Until next time....

Menswear Chic

Happy Tuesday!!! Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Mine was super busy and fun filled. I spent most of the weekend with family.

As summer comes to an end, I wanted to put together a look for fall that is business/work chic and can easily transition from day to night. Ladies, you can never go wrong in a nice suit. Its classic and sexy. Plus you can wear each piece as separates to create several new looks. Enjoy and have a great rest of the week. And remember, always follow and live your bliss!!!!

Black Tie Alternative

Happy Friday beautiful people!!! How is everyone doing? It's been a while since my last post. Sometimes you just need to unplug from social media and take some much needed personal time off. But I must say I am definitely glad to be back with a new post for you guys.

Hubby and I attended a masquerade black tie charity event for cancer research last weekend. I wanted to do something different besides the traditional gown. So I went for a lace print plaid check midi full skirt, a sheer lace and sequins top, with red pumps to add a pop of color. This is a very classy/trendy look and a great alternative to the traditional black tie gown. FYI, my top is actual a skater dress I've had for years. I just put the skirt over the dress, which gave it an even fuller look. Ladies, there is nothing wrong with recycling old pieces in your closet. You just have to come up with creative and innovative ways to re-wear old pieces to bring them back to life again.

What are your thoughts for this looks? I invite you to comment below. Have a great weekend everyone, and always follow your bliss!!!

CASUAL CHIC

Happy Friday everyone!!! Hope you have a great weekend coming up. I don't have anything planned so far. Just some much needed relaxation and spending time with the family.
I visited one of my girlfriends with my one year old son during the week and had some time to snap some pictures in her beautiful apartment lobby. Going anywhere with a one year old can be very hectic. I threw on a simple shift dress, which can be dressed up or down. I was going for a casual chic look. Something that is easy to get around comfortably in, but still look stylish. Did I nail this casual chic look? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for stopping by, and always follows your bliss!
